N.R. Enterprises is owned by Sh. S.P. Goel. He retired as Dy. Chief Administration Officer, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India in 1980. On 19 Feb. 1979, he was operated upon for total Laryngectomy at AIIMS, New Delhi. He Founded "Laryngectomee Club of India" in order to provide all rehabilitation help and assistance to total laryngectomee patients all over India . Due to his sole efforts Laryngectomees were declared as “Physically Handicapped” by Govt of India in the year 1983. He used electro-larynx unit for speaking since 1979 till his end on 19 Feb 2014. He is the soul responsible for development of Indian Electronic Larynx in the year 1994 which even had FDA approval . Now, his son Sh Pradeep Goel is following his path to provide all help to Laryngectomised persons to speak and regain their lost speech thereby restoring to their normal way of life.
